This mixed-use development is currently under development on the former Arrowhead Golf Course in Mebane, NC.  The project includes a mix of residential, institutional, commercial and recreational uses. Davenport Transportation Consulting (DTC, formerly JDE) conducted the original traffic impact analysis for this project in 2005, but which has been ongoing through 2009.  JDE has been involved in all phases of this project as it relates to transportation engineering.  This includes additional analysis, roadway improvements, new roadways, signal design, and public hearings.  The first phase of improvements as well as the majority of the Spine Road (Arrowhead Boulevard) has already been completed. We are currently working on improvements that will allow for the development of a Tanger Outlet Center.  One of the more complex elements of this project was the improvement to the I-40/85 interchange at Mebane Oaks Road.
