Dominion Development Services, Inc. / University of Richmond – Stadium Construction Traffic Impact and Traffic Operations Study , Richmond, VA

Dominion Development Services, Inc. (DDS,Inc.) provided traffic impact and operations study for the University of Richmond’s Special Use Permit request to construct a Football stadium on the University of Richmond campus. DDS’s responsibility was data collection of public and campus roads on weekdays and weekends when school was in session and during breaks.  This data was analyzed with and without stadium traffic for existing and future conditions. Based on the findings of the study recommendations were made to mitigate game day impacts on surrounding roadways.  DDS’Inc. also provided a traffic management plan for several game day scenarios.  The plan included entering and existing plans, circulation plans and parking release timing plans.
