Davenport Transportation Consulting (DTC, formerly JDE) was hired to provide traffic engineering services for the King William Sand and Gravel quarry development on Route 360 and 604, in accordance with the traffic impact study results.  DTC prepared construction documents for an east-bound left-turn lane off US Route 360 to northbound State Route 604; a southbound right-turn lane from State Route 604 to westbound US Route 360; Intersection signalization design for State Route 604 at US Route 360; traffic control plans; storm drain design; wet and dry utility relocation design and coordination; sedimentation and erosion control design; improvement plans and profiles; and geometric design. DTC provided the additional service of VDOT coordination as it related to the site entrance plan submission and review process and advocated for the signal installation at Route 360 and 604.
