- A controversial 26 acre development proposal near Oleander
Drive and Greenville Loop Road was approved by City Council
on January 5, 2010. Project opponent’s concerns focused
mainly on traffic impacts. Various traffic modeling
simulations were shown during the public hearing which
alleviated perceived concerns. The recommended roadway
improvements were presented in detail and demonstrated that
traffic operations in the project vicinity would be
significantly improved even with additional cars from the
development.
